Blake has also earned the prestigious Trilogy Award from the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA).

“We are excited about our incoming Chief,” said Cayce Interim City Manager Jim Crosland. “Chief Herbert Blake’s experience and reputation as a leader in professional policing across North and South Carolina stood out to each of us on the selection committee. I look forward to him leading our police department and serving the citizens of Cayce.”

Blake, who has been married to his wife Linda for 37 years, is a proud father of five grown children and grandfather to six grandchildren. His leadership is highly anticipated as he prepares to guide the Cayce Police Department into its next chapter.
